Norwegian Asim Akram sent us this race report about the first major win for the HB D8 in his country! There were about 37 top-ranked Norwegian drivers who participated in this race at the IMSK-RC race track near Trondheim in Norway.
Like most European major off-road races, the racing started on Saturday with the qualifying rounds, where racer Rune Karlsen took the TQ honours with his Hara Edition HB D8. Rune said that he didn't work too much on the setup, confirming that the D8 HE worked fantastic as built right out of the box! Rune and the rest of the racers there were surprised just how well it performed in standard form. On Sunday during the Finals, Rune started off from first and then has a couple of problems that dropped him back to third - but was soon on his way and caught the leader, then passed him to get back into first with two minutes left in the race! Rune now leads the Norwegian Cup and the Pro Circuit/RB Challenge standings with his HB D8 Hara Edition.
