Hot Bodies / HPI Racing Team Driver John Holmes places on the podium at Slough Rallycross National this past weekend. John uses the Hot Bodies D8 Hara Edition, HB Tyres, HPI F3.5 Pro Engine, HB Servos and OptiFuel 30% Nitro Race Fuel and made it count big time on the tricky Slough.
John qualified with Graham Alsop in the Semi A (only TQ man made the final directly) and proceeded to comfortably win the Semi with the fastest time to place second on the grid! Graham backed John up with a solid Semi result to make it 2 HB cars in the A final yet again. The team ran the Red Megabite tyre through qualifying and then switched to the Pink Megabite for the finals due to the rain. A very tough final then ensued with changeable weather conditions. John kept his cool to take a very solid third position for the HPI Racing package, Graham had some radio issues and unfortunately retired half way through.
