Here is Ronald's own story of the weekend: I started with the setup I found from practicing at the track a few weeks before the race, and didn't change anything during the practice sessions. I was using a new car but reverted to an older car I had, which felt better to me. I did run some new pulleys on the layshaft, but that was all. After the final practice run I was in 5th place, so I was pretty confident for qualifying, where 2 of 5 rounds would be scored on time, not by points. In the 1st run we decided not to drive like all the other top drivers because of the heat. In the 2nd round with new tyres, the car was great and I was in first spot for this round. The conditions were colder and the track became very fast, I was very suprised to have the fastest time. For the 3rd round on Saturday morning everybody used new tyres, so that should have been the deciding round. The track was a bit hotter than the 2nd round but my car was good, finishing 2nd behind the TQ was great again. I was still happy to have the chance to be on the podium. The 4th and 5th rounds were just practice because everyone had old tyres and the track was very hot, so it was impossible to go faster. I hadn't changed anything on my car from Thursday to Sunday so I was able to focus just on my driving. I didn't have to work on my car Satuday or Sunday so I just relaxed in the evenings and had some fun. 1st A Final. My start from 3rd was OK and I was following Steven with a small gap but I made a mistake after a few laps which cost me 2nd place to Mark. After that it was hard to follow but finishing 3rd was still OK in this great competition. 2nd A Final. Steven made a little mistake in the first lap and I was able to pass him. He was still not far away from me for the whole 5 minutes, but my car was working pretty well and I was able to keep 1st place 2 seconds in front of Steven. 3rd A Final. After a few laps I was able to close the gap to Steven. Marc was just behind me and all three of us got closer and closer every lap. Then Steven went wide at some corners and I was able to find the room to pass him after 2 minutes. Marc also passed Steven on the same lap and he was pretty close to me for the last 3 minutes of the race. I had to win the last Final to win overall! It wasn't possible for him to attack though and I kept the lead. It was a fantastic weekend for my team and me! The track and the car were perfect for me. It is my biggest win ever in racing and I would like to thank LRP and Hot Bodies for making it all possible. Ronald
