F3.5エンジンは、ABC （Aluminum piston Blister Chrome plated / アルミピストン、シリンダー内壁クロームめっき）構造の、軽量なアルミピストンと耐摩耗性の高いクロームめっきでコーティングされた内壁を持つシリンダーが軽量なアルミキャストのクランクケースに収められています。 すぐにエンジンがかけられるようにF3.5にはリコイルスターターシステムが搭載されています。 またスターターボックスを使いエンジン下部のメインシャーシの切り欠き部分からフライホイールをまわしてより素早くエンジンをかけることも可能です。 さらに、シンプルなエンジンスタートを望む方には#87130 HPI ロートスタート2 エンジンスタートシステムを取り付けることによりボタンを押しエンジン始動が可能となります。

トロフィー3.5バギーのメインシャーシは、強度と軽量化バランスが抜群な6061ジュラルミン製です。 軽量は加速力を生み、強度は大胆なスタントやビッグジャンプへ挑戦する自信を生みます。
シャーシの強度を上げるためフロントとリアに金属製ロッドブレースを装備し、これがシャーシのねじれや曲がりを防ぎサスペンションを設計通りに動かすことでドライブフィールとコントロール性の向上を達成しています。
駆動系
トロフィー3.5バギーに採用されているのはシャフトドライブフルタイム4輪駆動方式です。 シャフトドライブは、泥、水、土、芝生、雪、砂利道などを走破するときのベストな駆動方式です。 駆動系はハイクオリティーのボールベアリングによって支えられ高効率を実現し、最高速度や加速力、さらに燃費効率にも貢献しています。 スチール製スパーギアは、エンジンからのパワーをセンターデフに伝え、センタードライブシャフトを介して前後のデフに伝えます。 フロントとリアのデフギアは、2個のピニオンギアより耐久性に優れた4個のピニオンギアを採用しています。 デフからの出力は、スチール製出力アクスルからホイールアクスルへと伝えられ、17mmのオレンジアルマイトされた6角アダプタがHB プロトレーシングタイヤが取り付けられた7本スポークのホイールを駆動します。 . トロフィーを安全に制動させるため、冷却穴付きデュアルディスクブレーキとファイバーブレーキパッドが採用されています。 ブレーキパッドの材料は実車のトラックのブレーキと同様のものであり、トロフィーをコントロール下におきつつ迅速に止めることが出来ます。 全てのブレーキリンケージは細かいチューニングを可能にするように調整可能になっています。
サスペンションとステアリング
トロフィー3.5バギーは、ドライブフィールとレスポンスに優れた本物のレーシングサスペンションを搭載しています。 車の４隅に位置する長いサスペンションアームは、補強入り耐衝撃プラスチック製です。 ショックは丈夫なアルミ製ショックボディーとキャップを持ち、ラバーブラダー付きのオイル封入済みで、カバーブーツが泥や土から太いショックシャフトを保護します。 プロレベルのレースチューニングのため、トロフィーバギーはサスペンションジオメトリーを自在に変更することができます。 レースからレースへのベストセットを見つけやすくするためショックは、複数の取り付け位置を選択可能です。 フロントとリアのショックタワーにはキャンバーリンク（アッパーアーム）を取り付ける穴が複数あり、キャンバーリンクの場所を変えることでロールセンターを調整し貴重な数秒のタイムアップに貢献します。 またキャンバーリンクは丈夫なスチールターンバックルを採用しているのでタイヤの角度調整が迅速に簡単に出来ます。
