The Maverick Microbe Flux SC is
proof that big thrills really do come in small packages.
This 1/24th scale off-road Short Course Truck squeezes proper
racing tech into a compact chassis you can run almost anywhere
– from makeshift indoor circuits to rough-and-ready backyard
tracks.
A sleek extended 1.5mm anodized aluminum chassis, fully ballraced
drivetrain and a smooth 3-gear rear transmission work together to
give the Microbe SC a planted, precise feel. Add in longer, softer
oil-filled coilover shocks and vented wheels with foam inserts, and
you’ve got a tiny SC that loves to carve corners, soak up
bumps, and fire out of turns with confidence.
Under the “Top
Line” polycarbonate shell, there’s real hardware doing
the work: metal gears where it counts, metal outdrives, axles and
rear dogbones for durability, plus a sealed differential for
consistent performance run after run.
The MSRS-702 2-in-1 ESC/RX is still used, but in its Receiver
function and an FLX28 Brushless combo is added for that
unmistakable Flux performance and reliability, while the
quick-access battery tray makes pit stops fast and fuss-free. Fully
Ready-To-Run with the MTX-702 radio, 7.4V 350mAh LiPo and USB
charger included, you’re just a charge away from your first
race.
And because going fast should look good too,
the Microbe SC Flux comes in two vibrant colors: Blue and
Yellow.

Putting the power down is where the Microbe SC really shines. Its dedicated Microbe Racing wheels and tires are designed to make this tiny SC feel glued to the ground, the Sidepin tires find grip on carpet, dirt, and dusty tarmac alike. The vented 7mm hex wheels help the tires stay consistent over longer runs, while the foam inserts support the carcass so the SC stays sharp and predictable in fast direction changes. Whether you’re threading through a tight indoor layout or sending it down the street, the Microbe SC’s race-style wheel and tire combo gives you the confidence to push harder, lap after lap.
Polycarbonate Short Course Race Shell!
The Microbe SC’s “Top Line” polycarbonate bodyshell gives this tiny SC a serious race-car attitude. Sculpted with clean, modern lines and a low profile, it’s designed to look fast even when it’s sitting still. Tough Lexan construction shrugs off rollovers, barriers and the occasional misjudged jump, so the car keeps its sharp, fresh look run after run. With two vibrant color options for the Flux and four for the brushed, you can keep it box-art, mix and match, or go full custom and turn your Microbe into a miniature signature race machine.
Sturdy front suspension setup!
Up front, the Microbe SC is built to take a beating and keep its line. The rigid front bracing ties the suspension and chassis together for a solid, confident feel, so the SC soaks up the bumps without the steering going vague. Combined with the NEW longer, softer oil-filled shocks, the front end tracks smoothly over jumps and landings, keeping the tires planted and the SC pointing exactly where you want it. The result is a tiny car that feels tight and precise, whether you’re diving into a tight hairpin or bouncing across a rough, improvised off-road section.
Quick and efficient body removal and battery replacement!
Keeping you on track is as easy. The Microbe SC’s lightweight polycarbonate “Top Line” bodyshell slides into place at the front with a with shock tower hook, and uses body clips at the rear only, vreating a super secure fitment thats not coming off, while the ultra quick battery system uses two easy-access 90-degree twist locks to release the pack in an instant. Despite the fast access, everything sits snug and secure while you’re driving, staying locked in place through rolls, jumps and hard landings. It’s the perfect balance of convenience and durability, letting you spend more time driving and less time fiddling.
FLX28 Brushless Electronics
Small size, lightweight FLX28 - 2S25 Brushless ESC built for
small scale brushless racing. Measuring in at only 22x14mm and
5grams. Whether you've got an on-road or off-road car, this is
the ideal unit to control the power for the Microbe Flux.
For maximum power, you need a powerful and versatile motor! This
1626 8000KV 2S capable motor has it in spades, enough for big air,
huge top speeds, and wheel-spinning, grin-inducing sideways
stunts!
Durable Drivetrain, Dialled-In Rear Grip!
Putting the power down is the Microbe SC’s specialty, thanks to a tough drivetrain and a planted rear end that’s built to race. Metal outdrives, axles and rear dogbones team up with a sealed 3-gear differential and metal top layshaft gear to deliver smooth, consistent drive you can rely on, run after run. Out back, the longer and softer oil-filled coilover shocks and carefully tuned rear suspension geometry keep the tires pressed into the surface, soaking up bumps and landings without upsetting the truck. The result is a tiny SC that feels solid, responsive and driveable at the limit, built to handle everything from parking-lot bashing to serious micro racing.
