Defective Merchandise Policy
Many products sold in the U.S., Canada and South America do not meet CE regulations and are not intended for use in the E.U. Product warranties under this category are valid only in the U.S., Canada and South America.

Your HPI product is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from purchase date. If there are any defects with the materials, workmanship, or assembly of your product, we will gladly repair or replace it for you at our discretion. Products which have been worn out, abused or improperly operated will not be covered under warranty.

NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY
Normal wear, abuse, neglect, or any damage arising as a result of improper use.

HPI Racing shall not be liable for any loss or damages, whether direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential, arising from the use, misuse, or abuse of this product and any accessory or chemical required to operate this product.

DO NOT return this product without prior approval. Please note any returned product, which is inspected by our staff and is found to have an invalid warranty claim, may be subject to an inspection and handling fee before it can be returned. Any repairs made to this product resulting from neglect or misuse will be charged (parts and labor) before the work is started.

If directed to send your engine in for evaluation, you must include a copy of the original receipt (please keep your original), a written description of the problem, and a daytime phone number where you can be reached for questions. The engine must be returned complete with crankcase, crankshaft, piston, sleeve, connecting rod, cylinder head, carburetor and pull starter. You should not return the clutch, flywheel, flywheel collet, nut, air cleaner, manifold or muffler.

How long does it take for Customer Service to send out my part?
We try our best to process repairs as soon as they come in, most of the time simple items are shipped back the day after they come in. Shipping time depends on how you send it and where you are located. HPI USA is in California, so ground shipping from the east coast can take around 5 days in each direction. The closer you are to California the quicker the item will be returned. Canadian customers, International customs can sometimes delay the delivery by a few days. We don't work on weekends and holidays, so if you want to calculate the time it takes for a repair you must consider our weekend/holiday schedule.
