This year's Electric touring car European Championships were held just outside of Vienna, Austria this past weekend. The track for this years event had been built on an ice rink with a roof so for once nobody needed to worry about the weather. Practice started well for the HB team with all the drivers showing good pace right from the start. Qualifying started and your 2 best scores from 5 were to be used which meant it was going to be very tight to make the main. In one round Andy finished 8th in round 0.6 secs behind 3rd place proving just how close it really was.
5 tough qualifying rounds were completed and HB factory team driver Andy Moore made into the Main in 10th place. The 3 A mains were incredibly close and on this narrow indoor track the racing was fast and furious but Andy was able to make up a place and finish up 9th overall.
