Indoor Carpet GP World Cup 2004

Tue, 14th December 2004

HPI Team drivers Andy Moore and Benni Gröschel were successful in the recent Indoor Carpet GP World Cup 2004 this weekend (11-12 December). The GP took place in Switzerland with many of the world’s top drivers attending - so competition was tough! The GP was in Reedy Race format which meant all the drivers were in direct competition with each other over 10 races, with their best 8 finishes counting towards the final score. Andy Moore managed an impressive 7 wins and 1 second place finish with his Pro 4 but even this was not quite enough to gain him the title! Both Marc Rheinard and Steen Graversen secured 8 wins with Marc having a slightly quicker time. Benni Gröschel from Germany also managed a top 5 finish with his Pro 4.
