Many of the Setup Sheets are now available in GIF format for those who for some reason don't like to use the Acrobat Reader plug-in. See the relevant sheets below for how to view these new versions of the setup sheets.

Excel Overdrive Chart for Proceed (Excel file)
If you do not have have Microsoft Excel, you can download a file from the Microsoft web site that will allow you to view and print the file. Download the Microsoft Excel file viewer here! Follow any directions Microsoft gives to install the viewer. This will allow you to read and print out the Excel Overdrive Chart.

racers in Japanese 1/8 scale racing, and these setups are from the HPI
Japan web site.

Hashimoto's base Setup -
This setup sheet is provided by the designer of the Proceed kit and should
work good as a starting setup for most 1/8 scale on-road tracks (except
for gear ratios). Setup 1 is for the first day of practice (poor track
conditions), while Setup 2 is for the second day (good track conditions).

Base Off-Road Setup - Great starting
point for stock motor racing, meant for dedicated off-road tracks that
are high-bite and mostly clay. Some modifications will be needed for loamy
(loose) or grass tracks.

Electric Car Gear Ratio Chart (PDF, 92 KB)
The charts print out perfectly on a single page and there are three sets of charts on the page, so you can cut the page into conveniently sized parts and tape them to your tool box, parts tray, setting board, etc.
The shock positions for the 1/10 scale sedan kits correspond with the numbers and letters originally written on the inside back cover of the original RS4 Pro instruction manual. The HPI Setup Sheet will standardize the shock mount positions, so if someone asks you where you mounted your shocks, you can say, "A-3." This is just one way the setup sheet can help you and your buddies!
