Hi, my name is Michael Hinton ,and this is my Super Nitro RS4. The car presently has a vented flywheel, two speed transmission and polishing work to the motor. The suspension has been tweaked by the way of springs, sway bars, droop screws and oil. The car is extremely fast and I'm proud of it.

Attached are some pics of my race ready RS4-3SS. I have found that the lack of people racing HPI RS4-3s in any competitive level have made getting this car to race spec pretty hard. I am one of 2 people who run RS4-3’s in the scene here in WI, and the only one competitive. The car is packed with Wolfpack Radical goodness (Chassis, 2speed, steering), and the hot STS based 12R XS plant pushing it. It has a custom gear ratio, and the entire driveline has been dropped 3mm closer to the deck. The only parts upgraded were those that needed it. Shock towers are a frilly thing more than a real hard core upgrade so they will happen down the road. The car is as fast in corners and on the straight as any NTC3, Serpent 710, and R40 with a plant of similar power. Not a show queen, but all race. Every part of the car has been tuned/tweaked to better its performance, I don’t spend long on the body painting… it just weighs the car down hehe. The additional mods list goes on for ever. CVD’s all around, front/rear ball diff’s, racer2 fuel tank, and everything possible lowered to the deck. Every week its getting closer to 1st place in the weekly club races. (mostly driver at this point ;) I’ve been a customer of HPI since the original RS4, and really hope you guys keep developing the RS4 line in a shaft driven fashion. The R40 is nice, but I would love to see it in a shaft setup J
