My car is a HPI Micro RS4 with a Ford Mustang body. It is all stock
execpt for the Team Orion Elite motor. The rims are the HPI aluminum
rims painted to match the blue. This is my first paint job ever. Yea
it could be better BUT for the first time it was a fun challenge that
yielded great results. Working for the New York City Fire Department,
I had to put a 9-11 memorial. That was THE hardest thing to do. Cut
out the skyline with the twin towers on it and then cut out 9-11-01
and FDNY backwards with the tape for it to come out right. I also
have the lighting kit for the Micros. This is my show car and I REFUSE
to race this at all. Too much time was put into it. If you have any
questions, feel free to contact me:

This is my Nitro MT with the new Mazda Miata body I made. I saw
it at my local hobby shop and just had to have it. I wanted to be
totally different and to stand out at the track. I used a purple pearl
paint that shifts from blue to purple with Indy silver and Daytona
yellow. I used decals from the body kit and extras from the original
body. Note the appropriate decal i put on the hood (MONSTER Miata).
I have made a whole list of upgrades and plan to buy and engine upgrade
kit soon. I've had a lot of fun with it and I want to get a street
car also.

Hello,
My name is George Bellon, I'm located in Kuwait on a government contract
supporting our troops. To keep myself busy on the weekends I'm involved
in the local R/C scene and would like to submit my Savage for the
racers gallery. It is a Savage 21 without any further hop-ups besides
the Hot Bodies Body painted with rattle cans. Thanks for your consideration
and congratulations on a very well designed and thought out truck.
It performs very well in the local desert environment.

| This is my first HPI kit, the RS4 micro Corvette. It
is my first car in fact. I purchased the HPI pro speed control with
the kit , and am presently using my HiTech aircraft radio upside down
as a two stick radio. I am only driving on my newly made track in
the basement until I purchase a surface radio. I had a great time
making the car from the kit as the instructions were very good and
I especially liked the assembly instructions on your web site. I learned
something about cars during the construction as well (I usually build
aircraft). I have purchased the skyline body and plan on painting
it like the car in 2 Fast 2 Furious; although I see someone has done
that already! I hope mine will be an exact replica and am collecting
logos for decals now. Will send photos in the future, I also have
some other ideas. Thanks for a great product and introduction to a
new R/C hobby. Glen |

| Wut up HPI, this is my Savage 21....I bought this truck last December
and I never broke anything, which proves that the Savage is a very
durable truck. I run it through rocks the size of baseballs or bigger
and I never had a problem, thanks to the torque of the BB engine.
Thanx HPI for making a very durable truck and including a reliable
engine.

| Here are some pictures of my recently completed savage ss. it was
my first kit in 10 years and definately picked the right one. So far
I have added the reverse module, an in-line fuel filter (purple of
course), and a high performance air filter. alluminum skid plates
will be next. I have had a blast building and driving the truck so
far. Thank you HPI!

I'm sure the pics could be better, but she's a driver, and she's
been driven. To start off I should mention that I actually tinted
the flames into the windows. The flames are all hand drawn and cut
for both the tint and the template for the paint. This is my first
rc, and I learned alot from this experience. I can't wait to customize
another HPI body.

This is a nitro RS4 3 SS with a ford f150 body. The car has a custom
dual exhaust I made and hand painted rims. The .12 engine has a K&N
airfilter this car is very fast and I love HPI kits.

This is my stock Savage SS. It does not have any hop-ups yet
but will soon. I was one of the first people in Staten Island, NY
to have it.

My name is Klaas, i live in Holland (Europe). About
one year ago i bought the type SS kit in the US, later on i bought
some nice hopups for the car including the graphite front and rear
shock tower and upperdeck, these parts make the car stiff which causes
the car to handle very good, at least better that the stock parts!
I also got the THS tuned pipe and header. after some modds to the
alu. chassis plate, power-switch and reciver i was able to put the
battery pack (team orion 1100 Mah NiMH) and the reciver both under
the CG upperdeck wich help lowering the cars COG by a bit. i bought
the red piniongears and am running 39 and 43 spurgears on my 2-speed
so a little bit less acceleration, but more top speed :).
i'm still running the stock .12r SS engine, i ran true about 8 litres
(± 2 galons) of tornado fuel. about 3 months ago i bought a
new piston and sleeve becouse i thought my engine had almost lost
it's compression and needed a rebuild pretty soon, this was not the
case and am still running the engine and even noticed some more power
from the engine! I think the stock engine is a very reliable engine
and hope to maintain running it till the bare end :D
When deciding to submit a few of the pictures i made i found out it's
a real contest! i don't think i'd make any chance winning becouse
i just painted the Saleen body as shown on hpi's website......I just
don't have the inspiraiton i guess ;)
I hope you'll enjoy watching my pictures, i did when watching most
of this years gallerys and i must say some of the cars look just GREAT,
my compliments to all of you:D

Here is my CLK DTM Mercedes Body I painted with Pactra
Sprays. I also made working High beams, Low Beams, Fog Lights, Tail
Lights, and functional Brake Lights using LEDs. I did it over the
winter here in New England.

These are pictures of my raced Sport 2 that I raced this past out-door
season. After 12 weekends of my rookie season I finished 3rd for the
season. Replace the stock ball cups with RPM ball cups and the HPI
Sport 2 is virtually indestructible! Take it from a rookie, I hit
everything and then some and only broke the upper deck because of
a full speed hit into a curb. I know the gallery is to show off your
coolest body but I thought a good battle test body shows the wear
a tear this kit can take. And those racers that ask if you can win
with a Sport 2. Yes you can! I wasn't the best but when others where
getting their wheels back on or straight, bye bye... I look forward
to upgrading to the Pro4 next season and my wife will be trying her
luck with the Sport 2 in her rookie
season.
Thanks HPI,
