Hi my name is Froilan Lirio from Southern California. You are looking at my latest micro body completely equipped with the following detail enhancers: light buckets w/ functional front and rear lights, side mirrors, windshield wiper, disc brake and calipers,a hks intercooler, and a pretty detailed interior. For the most part of this addictive hobby, I've been more focused on the painting and detailing aspect, since I'm not that good at the racing portion yet. I first started out with rattle cans and after five bodies or so, I advanced into airbrushing since the latter method no longer met the needs of my imagination's will to manifest itself. After painting countless amounts of bodies, good and bad ones, I present to you my most recent work, an HPI micro RS4 NSX body.

This is my sick Rush and my only RC car. I have upgraded or changed almost everything on this truck.

Here’s the homemade stuff and aftermarket parts… Diamond Plate upper deck, custom bent aluminum roll bar, diamond plate front and rear skids, custom aluminum front bumper. I custom fitted a DuraTrax aluminum bell crank steering system to the chassis and upper deck. Now the parts… Racing tank, titanium turnbuckle set, racing clutch, fiber brake, fuel filter, MIP shiny CVD’s with drive shaft boot covers, MIP side pipe and header kit with custom tip, stainless steel hinge pins, aluminum rear brace, graphite front and rear shock towers, Motor Saver air filter attached to a custom fitted Ram-Air induction tube, custom fitted Associated receiver box with a GWS failsafe attached, OFNA throttle linkage, Dynamite red seal bearings, Associated black dished rims front and rear, Pro-Line Dirt Hawgs in rear, HPI ribs up front, for onroad; Super Star MT wheels front and rear with Pro-Line Striker II’s all around, front and rear Super Shock sets with aluminum perches, all wrapped in Shock Socks, rear shocks have white front springs with yellow 27mm springs on top, front shocks have white springs, and to cover it all up is a HPI Chevy Silverado body. The design is my first attempt at painting a body, it has a few over spray mistakes but overall pretty sick design. Only thing left is to buy and install a O.S. .15 CV-RX engine and it will be finished. Next up… a Savage SS kit….
Thanks HPI!!!

I just love these MICRO RS4's I own 5 myself. HPI bodies are the best in detail and fit! Here is my Silvia GT painted with florescent green and backed with gold pearl and white.

I'm an avid cyclist and Lance Armstrong is the best. The inspiration for this paint job comes from Lance's New climbing bike this year. The very same one he used to win his 5th Tour De France. Of course Lance's number is 1 so it wouldn't be complete without that as well. This is my first RC car aside from toys as a kid. The kit is a Nitro MT with the Ford F-350 Body. Trek Bikes deserves some credit, the sent me various stickers to use on the car. Although you can't see it, the tail gate has an American flag so that my rivals know who I am. Thanks.

my name is dave, i have been into rc cars, trucks, boats since i was about 16 (now 39). when i saw a video on the savage i had to have it. and have had no regrets on getting it. it is tough, reliable, and bad. thanks hpi keep up the awesome work. the truck is stock i have only had to replace the right rear rim twice and broke 1 shock. it is a grave digger body, but could not paint it to look like it. i did all the paint with rattle cans (the flames were pre cut blank stencils.) but my paint. the truck is no longer that clean. the flags are there to honor our troops overseas.

hello to all at hpi.

here are some photos i did of my hpi srinte gti, with the saxo body shell. the sprint gti sits on hpi mesh wheels, and hpi slicks, the shell... i hand painted the bady shell with gold flake, then i sprayed the shell in metallic red, and then backed it with sprint white. the colour turn out was wat i expected i nice metallic red finish, and when the light hits it, the shell sparkles gold.
cheers for your time,
david farrow

(the Citroen Saxo body and Sprint GTi kit are only available in Europe)

This is Kyle Mizuno from Northern CA. My first R/C kit was the Nitro Mini and I’ve subsequently purchased a Micro and most recently the Nitro RS4 SS. I love the simplicity of following HPI’s instructions as a first-timer to R/C and the great quality of the kits. The Micro and SS are mostly stock. My pride still remains with my first kit and thanks to my girlfriend’s masking job, the Cowcar is complete! Here are the hop-ups for my Nitro Mini “cowcar”:

Carbon fiber upper and Y-brace
Super shock front
15FE Nitro Star
360 MIP stinger exhaust
Front and rear universals

I have to say it’s a blast running the Nitro Mini with the 15FE but it still pales to the SS. For the SS, I’ve done a standard blue to black fade. Keep up the great kits and products!

Hey, my name is Matthew Ostiguy. I am thirteen years old and I live in the small town of East Greenwich, Rhode Island. These pictures are of my Mitsubishi Eclipse. My Eclipse has a green flourescent paint job with blue metallic flames. My rims are from hotworks racing and they look pretty sweet. My Eclipse was the frist body I ever did with flames and for my first time i think they turned out pretty good.
