Updated with the .12 R SS engine, 2 speed transmision, Tuned Pipe & exhaust header set, Lightweight flywheel and high performance air cleaner. Hi HPI!! you guys totally rock.

My name is Jason Hood from Eugene Oregon "Home Of the DUCKS". This is my HPI SAVAGE 21, It is the best truck I have seen or had the pleasure of driving/working on/tuning/rebuilding. It is by far the best for taking punishment. I have tuned it and added a few things to it to make it very fast.

Things added are a Hot Bodies tuned pipe and then just about all the HPI upgrades you guy's have come out with. Adding step pins or bowties is one of they key's for speed on the track too.
We are just forming a club here in Eugene called R/C SUPERCROSS and we have 2 acres donated for five years. We are hoping to get to the point of having sanctioned races up here in 2004.

I also have a HPI RUSH and soon to be the owner of the new R40.

So keep up the awesome work you guys do.

Here is my Savage. I love this truck. I go to the track and just dominate! My truck has the stock .21BB engine, high flow air filter, Hotbodies pipe, MIP Inferno 7.5 clutch, Hotbodies extended chassis, New Era aluminum skid plate, Hotbodies aluminum shocks, Hi-Tech metal gear steering servo, Hotbodies aluminum clamp-on hex nuts, Hotbodies Revolution rims and Psycho tires, HPI roto-start system, and a custom painted body from "Skidmark" Skidmark's address is: http://www.cptnet.com/ken/. When I race I put on my old bronco body and a set of Pro-Line bowties. Don't want to ruin that great looking body! Thank you HPI for making such a good truck! And thank you Ken for painting my a great looking body! I will have to get another one when I get the SS!
