Hello, My name is James Baird and I am from Leechburg, Pennsylvania. Attatched are pics of my nitro RTR 3 street car. This car gets transformed into two different vehicles in one! The next body is your Beetle cup racer body. This body is custom painted with the real color of a new beetle, yes i own one! This body is mainly used when I take my real beetle to a car show and use the rc as a neat little model. The wheels I use with this body is 26mm custom wheels wrapped in your ultra low profile tires, with proline simulated brake rotors. I also use the Yokomo truck racer body with Super Nitro wheels and tires for a different look! AS far as the actual car itself, hop-ups include: An O.S. CV-R .12 engine, lightweight flywheel, two speed tranny, primerless race fuel tank, Proline aluminum front and rear A-arms, shocks, turnbuckles, uprights, Associated tuned pipe, Traxxas header, and a Hotbodies slotted brake disc. There will be many more upgrades in the future! On the control I have a neat little steering wheel as the turn wheel. Since I bought this car it has become by best "toy" lol. | Hello, my name is Nicholas Haberberger. I live
in Columbia, MO. Attached to this letter you will find a few pics
of both my HPI cars. I've had the Nitro MT racer now for about 2
and a half years, and the RS4 3 type SS now for about 8 months.
I absolutely love these cars. I think you guys over at HPI really
know how to please everyone on every level of this great hobby.
Wether it's building your excellent kits, running the cars, learning
about the cars, hopping them up, racing them (my personal fav),
or painting your highly detailed bodies, your company truly excels
at every level. I frequently race both cars at my local on-road
race track. Last year I was able to win 1st place overall in the
nitro sedan class and 2nd overall in the nitro on-road truck class.
Hopefully this year (after a long winter season of added hopups)
I can get 1st place in both classes. Speaking of which, the pictures
are of two new bodies I've painted for the upcoming 2003 race season
that I'll be starting here soon by driving to Dallas,TX for the
HPI challenge. I think my two cars are pretty well equiped. I mean,
the race isn't worth winning if you don't look good, right? :) I
hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I had fun painting the bodies.

| Hello, my name is Phil Maiorana and
I live in poughkeepsie, NY. This is my HPI NITRO MT. ITS AWSOME!!!!
It has all the upgrades i will ever need!!! a $350 picco racing
.21 engine, slipper clutch, proline masher 2000's all around, custom
water gards, balloon and silicon reciever waterproofing, and a body
from ym hpi dash kit that flew into the hudson river (by accident!)
the car is extremly fast, espessaly with 15 tooth clutch bell!!
does 40-45 with 1 speed! Living up to HPI's durability reputation,
i just (6/6/03) ran my car at 45 mph into a full size chevy 2500
pick up, and it cost me- $9.50!!! one broken A-arm, and a suspention
shaft...THATS IT!!! this truck is the most fun, donut making, dirt
kickin, jumping lord of ALL STADIUM TRUCKS!!!! thanks alot HPI,

| My name is Nigel I am from Australia and have just purchased my first nitro car. It's a HPI Super Nitro Rally. It's awesome. I have painted it Gun Metal Grey and have only put a few decals on it to keep it simple. I hope you include these photos in your racers gallery. Thanks heaps nigel |

| Hi HPI my name is Jason and I am 15 years old. I live in Levittown, New York. I have been involved with this hobby for about a year and a half. I recently bought a new engine, a body and other parts for my car. This is only my second body and my first time painting a two color paint design. My first body was a Viper that came with the Nitro RS4 3 kit (that made it on this site)....Im hoping these make it too. HPI is the best. Upgrades |
