HPI Crew,

Hey my name is BJ Mace and I live in Chesapeake, Virginia. I recently got into R/C Cars with a strong interest in airbrushing. Here is my first attempt at painting some of your fine Lexan. The silver racing stripe was done with masking tape and pin stripe decals used as a mask on the inside. The gray was a custom mix of black, silver and white paint. Enjoy!

Heres one of my micros… trueno body(painted a blue pearl).. looks light but its actually navy blue..

I got the chrome panasports/watanabe look a like rims and painted the spokes black and left a polished lip.. just like the Japanese ones.

Once again HPI has impressed me with another great truck. First it was the Nitro RS4 MT and now it is the Savage. This is a truly amazing truck compared to the favored T-Maxx. I think that this is going to be the next BIG monster truck that everyone is going to want.

My Savage is equipped with an Ofna Hyper .21 8 Port Engine, this engine has the HPI High Performance Air Filter on it, as well as a Hot Bodies Aluminum Tuned Pipe. To get the monsterous wheels to turn it has a Hitec HS-645MG Steering Servo with a Kimbrough servo saver, which is connected to the excellent Airtronics MX-3 FM radio system. The body is a Proline Ford Excursion body with the design of a "printed circuit board" on the hood. The SUV style body allows the truck to handle the extremes of offroad racing without the heatsink of the engine hitting the ground.

Once again, Thank You very much for making yet another GREAT truck with an excellent suspension, superb durability, and outstanding looks (especially that TVP chassis).

This is my first R/C vehicle, it's a Nitro MT Racer. I decided to make the paint scheme a homage to FOX Racing. I have a HPI 12r nitro engine on order along with the option super shocks, and soon, some ball diffs. I have already installed the woven graphite upper deck and all the electronics from my new JR XS3 radio. I want to take it racing, and I figured that if I load it up with some trick parts I won't be able to blame a loss on the truck!!

Here are some pictures of my first real paint job. My car is an RS4 Rtr 3. It has 2spd, CVEC pipe, header, and various GPM Racing upgrades. Maybe next time I'll try something a little more detailed.

Hello people at HPI, first and foremost I have to thank you guys for making such a great rc! Here in Calgary winters are long and indoor tracks are few (almost non-existant)... this is where Micro comes to the rescue!!!
I really like the DTM body, its in my opinion the nicest car ever! Here some pictures of my car with the lights on.

Hello here are some pics of my Savage. I haven't done much to it yet ( I haven't had it very long). I replaced all the dogbones with CVD's from Hot Bodies. I also replaced the brake with a Hot Bodies replacement. I use a Motorsaver fuel filter and a Great Planes fuel filter. It rolls on a set of Pro-line Velocity 6's with Big Joe 40's. I topped it with a Pro-line Chevy panel Wagon. I painted it with rattle cans. Hope you like it I REALLY DO!!

Hello, my name is Tim Zewatsky from Milford Michigan. I have recently gotten the rc bug. This is my first kit although I have painted a few other bodies. So far my rs4 3 ss is stock, waiting for warmer weather to break it in and I'll go from there.I enjoy the HPI support, keep up the good work.

The colors are Parma Fastflip sapphire backed with pearl black, accents are: allclad chrome, testor racing red, outlaw black, and a mixed red and orange (for amber). It's hard to tell in the photos but the main body will change from brilliant blue through violet to black depending on the type and intensity of lighting. Look for more to come in the future!

Hey everyone, this is ExtremeMT from the old HPI forums and the current RRCA forums. Here is my HPI Nitro MT. I got it 3 years ago when I was 12. It was my first R/C vehicle ever besides what I got from Toys R Us. I have been very happy with it and it's Durability. Besides what you can see in the pics I have a 15 tooth clutchbell, racing clutch, fiber brake disc and lightweight flywheel all HPI products. Yall make great products that are durable, long lasting, and have a huge fun factor. Keep up the good work, I plan on getting a Savage soon and I'll post pics of it when I do :) .

Here are some pictures of my HPI Savage21 truck. Although it is mostly stock right now, I am very proud of the Bolink Avalanche body that I have painted. Although my 1:1 scale Avalanche is Forest Green Metallic, I decided to go for something a little more eye catching with the Savage. I went with Pactra flourescent yellow backed with basic white for the main body and charcoal pearl metallic for the cladding. All the lights and graphic are airbrushed, with the graphics done in a "ghost" phase change gold, orange, red, and purple paint. The Savage has a Venom Failsafe unit and HPI High Performance Air Filter. I hope that you find the pictures good enough to be shown in the gallery.

Thank you for your time,

Derek Marquardt
