How the HPI Racer
Gallery contest works: Each week, we will update the Racer Gallery
with our most recent submissions, in the order we receive them. We will
choose one submission each week (which can consist of multiple pictures
of multiple cars) to be our Pick of the Week. You may enter the contest
as many times as you wish (using different pictures and cars), however
you may be Pick of the Week only once per year.
At the end of each
month we will choose from the Pick of the Week our Pick of the Month.
At the end of the year, we will choose from our Picks of the Month the
Racer Gallery Pick of the Year! The owner of our Racer Gallery
Pick of the Year will receive a free HPI kit for their efforts! Pick of
the Year winners will be contacted by email. To be eligible for the 2003
Pick of the Year we must have your entry by December 1, 2003.
Please note that although
your Racer Gallery submissions may not appear in the Racer Gallery immediately,
be prepared to wait 2-4 weeks, depending on the amount of entries we receive.
For hints and suggestions on how to make your car or truck look its best,
see our R/C Photography Tips!
The fine print: By voluntarily submitting
your car or truck to the HPI Racing website for use in the Racer's Gallery,
you agree that HPI Racing has the right to use (from the email(s) you
send for the Racer's Gallery) any images, any text, your name and your
location in [city, state] form, but NOT your email address or mailing
address, on any HPI Racing website. Any use of this information will be
strictly for purposes of inclusion on the Racer's Gallery section of the
website, in possible future additions to the HPI Racing website and in
possible future public advertisements, for promotional use only by HPI
Racing. HPI Racing reserves the right to edit any text and images included
in your email(s). If you do not agree to these terms, please contact
the
webmaster so that we may remove your entry.
These rules may change at any time and without warning, however they will
be considered in effect, immediately and retroactively, as soon as they
are updated on Racer's Gallery web page. This contest void where prohibited.
Any taxes, tariffs and duties on any prizes are the sole responsibility
of the winner. A list of winners may be requested after the contest ends
by contacting HPI Racing USA by letter, email or phone.

I wanted to show you some pictures of my Nitro RS4
MT. I bought it used with a Nitro Star 15 engine and a lot of other
hop-ups. I replaced the cylinder and piston and added a heat sink
head. I also added and a temperature guage. I love this truck. I
live in Arizona so it sees its fair share of rocks, dirt and dust.
Here are pictures of the truck's new body that I
just finished painting myself.
I hope you enjoy seeing my photos.
Thanks,

My name is Andrew Schmidt from Edmonton Alberta
Canada. I hope you like my Toyota Celica. Not bad for a first
time paint job I hope. It took me about ten hours to complete
the whole thing. The toughest part was getting a perfect curve
around the wheel wells, after that it was a matter of just spraying
it with the metallic red and silver paint.
Thanks, Andrew.

| Hi, my name's Justin
Simson and I live in Bonney Lake, Washington (near Puyallup). These
are pictures of my Mini Pro with its Honda Civic body. I got the
kit last Christmas and I love it. It's still stock out of the box
though. I had to get this Civic body because a little while ago
I destroyed the one that came with it (my Miata) in a head-on collision
with my friend's truck. In this email I included 4 pictures so you
can decide which ones to use if you post mine in the Racer's Gallery.
Thanks,
Justin -- 'Foolio' |
