How the HPI Racer Gallery contest works: During the month of January, we updated our Racer Gallery with a few dozen entries each week. We then chose one entry to be our Pick of the Week. The weekly winners are shown below.

Now we have to decide the Pick of the Month, the entry that will be eligible for our Pick of the Year at the end of 2003!

There was no Pick of the Week for Week One of January 2003 because we returned from our holiday break on Thursday Jan. 2nd and did not have time to sort through the entries that we had.


Week Two, January 2003

Hi,

I wanted to show you some pictures of my Nitro RS4 MT. I bought it used with a Nitro Star 15 engine and a lot of other hop-ups. I replaced the cylinder and piston and added a heat sink head. I also added and a temperature guage. I love this truck. I live in Arizona so it sees its fair share of rocks, dirt and dust.

Here are pictures of the truck's new body that I just finished painting myself.

Week Three, January 2003
I have made the paintings I attached to your Chevrolet and Ford cars. Since then I have been racing with them. I wish you more succes in the future!

Week Four, January 2003

What's up everybody at HPI! Here's a letter from Holland to wish all you guys a merry christmas and fast wishes for 2003! Keep up the good work with those bodies.
Included you will find some pics of my Pro 2 with the Sylvia bodie I painted this summer.
Except the carbon hood and adjustable rear wing this ride also features head- and fog lights and neonlights on the chassis. Fast and Furious Supra eat your heart out! Maybe a cool site for your link page is the following: www.dmrcp.com This site is all about racing and other things my friend and me are into. It is in Dutch but worthwhile checking out. DMRCP stands for Dutch Masters R/C Posse. Articles you can expect are reports from the Essen Motorshow and recent trips too the Nordschleife circuit at Nurburg Germany.
