HPI Racing is proud to introduce this new line of heavy duty
Steel Spur Gear Sets for the Savage line of monster trucks. These steel gears are
precision machined to HPI factory dimensions and
hardened for the ultimate in strength, long life and
maximum durability. To keep the weight down, these steel gears are thinner than the stock plastic spur gear, and the center steel section is removed and replaced with a light weight purple anodized aluminum inner Spur Gear Hub. Available in 47T, 49T and 52T sizes for a wide variety of gear ratios. These will be extremely popular upgrade gears for Savage racers, especially for high horsepower applications.
IMPORTANT: Due to the extreme strength of these gears it is necessary that Savage owners upgrade their Clutch Bell to one of our newly released Savage Racing Clutch Bells (#77103-77110). Standard clutch bells will wear out very quickly with these gears.
The convenient set comes with a Steel Spur Gear, Spur Gear Hub, Slipper Clutch Pad, threadlock and installation hardware. Savage Racing Clutchbell not included.
