New for the 2003 National Champion R40 nitro touring car is a rear solid axle that replaces the stock rear differential. Our Team Drivers use the “locker” rear solid axle on large racetracks with sweeping turns. The “locker” design provides improved rear stability on some tracks and is a useful tuning option for competitive racing applications. It is also lighter than the stock differential, and has fewer parts for added reliability. Racers will want this part in their pit box because there will be times when it delivers the highest performance and fastest lap times.
