Pro Molded Inner Foam 26mm (Rounded) inserts for standard width rounded tires such as our #4435 Racing Slick Belted Tires. The combination of these rounded Inner Foams and our newest rounded tires will allow racers to conform to ROAR and IFMAR rules and still enjoy the benefits of super narrow tires. Rounded tires concentrate the weight of a car on a smaller contact patch for better handling, acceleration and braking.
The soft Inner Foams are best used on tracks that need extra traction, such as unprepared parking lot tracks, while the hard Inner Foams are excellent for high traction race tracks like permanent tracks or carpet. Combinations of different Inner Foams are also possible. For instance, soft Inner Foams in the rear with hard Inner Foams in the front make the car easier to drive on slippery surfaces.
