HPI Racing now offers a Hard Shock Spring Set that gives Cup Racer cars a wide variety of tuning choices to dial in the handling of their cars to track conditions. The set features 3 pairs of color coded springs for easy identification:

Black (one step softer than the gold kit springs)
Blue (one step harder than the gold kit springs)
Pink (two steps harder than the gold kit springs)
