Hi, my name is John and i live in new york. i have been into this hobby for about 1 yr now. i have a mt2 18ss, and a savage ss 4.6.the first time i saw a nitro truck on monster garage. it was a savage, and from that day forward, my goal was to save enough money to buy one. and bout a few years later, i forgot about it, but my friend that i work with has alot of nitro cars. he reminded me of them, so i went and bought a mt2 18ss. i was liking it for a while. good speed, turning, but i wasn't ready to take it off jumps. i got my savage and im not afraid to go off anything. the savage is in my opinion one of the most strongest, and durable trucks out on the market now, and if you don't have one, i suggest u go and buy one. i have just upgraded a few parts to the savage x parts.for example the radio box, and the tranny box. next maybe the diff cups.
im hoping to get the sprint 2 drift, and get the lambo murcilago body(or however you spell it). it would be lots of fun to drive around the house, i have alot of obstacles, like chairs, couches, and tables to go around. can't wait!
at the moment, im rummaging for parts so i can put my own custom savage together. going to be a racer style, with a wing, FLM extended tvps, a mid tank mod, savage x parts(radio box, tranny, diff), HPI K4.6, nemesis shocks(only 4, not 8), RPM A-arms(lifetime warranty. can't beat that!!), NUBZ with white dish wheels with the CVDS, a fibershell from the UK (very tough), innovative rush evo battery pack mount, and some other small stuff. can't wait for this either.
UPDATE: the savage racer is just about done. im waiting for a crystal from towerhobbies, and then ill start the break in process. check my project cars when you can.
UPDATE: project has been done for a while, is a blast to run, and stupid quick. haven't run it in a while however, hope the fuel isn't ruining the engine!!!
