Congratulations to Team HB HPI's Ty Tessmann for taking the TQ and Win in the Truggy Class at the 2011 Sidewinder Nitro Explosion Race! Ty dominated the Truggy class with his HB D8T all weekend long and was the class of the field at the event. Team HB HPI were represented at the event by 2 time World Champions Atsushi Hara and Hayato Matsuzaki, Ty Tessmann and Tyler Vick as well as a host of HB Infantry drivers. On hand were also HB and HPI designers Josh Alton, Torrance Deguzman and Hidezaku Nishine. HB Team Manager Hiroyuki Kasuya, HB Infantry Team Manager Michael Gonzales and HPI Japan's Masayuki Miura were present at the event to ensure everything went smoothly for the Team HB HPI drivers. Overall it was a great weekend for Team HB HPI with Ty Taking the TQ and win in Truggy (HB D8T) and finishing 3rd in Buggy (HB D8), Atsushi Hara (HB D8) made strong showings in both A-Mains with a 6th place finish in Truggy and taking 8th in Buggy.
