For one month Knott’s Berry Farm, a theme park in Buena Park, California changes their name to Knott’s Scary Farm and will open it doors exclusively for Scion owners who bring gifts for the Toys For Tots Program. This Tuesday's event brought thousands of Scion owners out to attend the 38th annual Knott’s Berry Farm Halloween Haunt which Scion has been providing an exclusive night for its enthusiastic customers since 2004.

In 2009, approximately 11,000 people showed up in about 3,200 Scions! This has been one of the largest specific shows for Scion, its Southern California dealers and the Scion enthusiast. For entry into Knott’s Scary Farm, these Scion customers brought an unwrapped $10 gift to the US Marine Corps collecting for the Toys For Tots program on site the day of the event. USMC collected 26,000 toys from Scion owners at last years event.

Scion club members took it a step further this year with an organized caravan from Toyota Speedway located in Irwidale, Ca. and travelled to Knott’s that gained a Guinness Book of World Record for largest Scion caravan!

HPI Racing is officially making a Scion Xb [Gen2] that is available exclusively through Scion dealers across the United States. While these are rolling into dealers now, HPI staff were on hand with display and demo vehicles so Scion customers could get both a first time viewing of the cars, plus get some demo time driving the cars. For many, this was their first ever experience driving an R/C vehicle.
