One10drift Drift Off competition @ Vancouver International Auto Show

The second annual Drift Off competition was a huge success at the Vancouver International Auto Show this year. One10drift laid down their most scale track to date and RC drifters and spectators alike loved it.

The three day event drew constant crowds of spectators and had participants from all over the Pacific Northwest. The third and final day held the competition which had 17 competitors. The results were shocking, last years DK Matt Crarey came in third while last years second place Al Werner maintained his spot finished second this year. DK for 2010 was taken by James Schrom a very talented RC drifter from team Seatown Drifters, Seattle, WA. Concourse competition was won by Jonathen Camaclang with his sweet Nissan complete with engine bay and interior.

Winners received trophies plus gift certificates for RC ptistop a hobby shop located in Langley. A spectator Robert Hanson won his very own HPI drift car donated by Ractech Hobbies, a hobby shop located in Coquitlam. Next year will bring a larger new venue to the Auto Show and more fierce competition as there will be a secondary event for counter-steer drifting.
