The Ultimate Hobbies-HPI R/C Demo team was out in full force this past weekend ripping up the asphalt during the pit party, and then putting on the ultimate R/C show inside the stadium on the floor.  The pit party got fired up around 3pm giving the R/C demo team an opportunity to show the public what the HPI cars are capable of. Mixed in with all the monster trucks on site and a few other vendors, the Ultimate Hobbies-HPI Demo crew was drawing huge crowds with their aerobatic prowess. Several kicker ramps were set with massive distance before the landing ramps. The HPI Savages were once again the vehicle of choice for its unmatched strength and durability. Double back flips, and single front flips some 20' over spectator heads was an impressive sight to say the least. The crowds appreciated every minute of the action with their cheers.

Once inside the stadium the action is high pressure and nonstop. All cars need to be in tip top condition and ready to put on a show. Around 40,000 screaming fans are ready to see the R/C mayhem. During intermission the audience was treated to a wild display of HPI Savages and Bajas strutting their stuff. The star of this week's show was without doubt David Groon. Dave brought his bright yellow 5T on the field and proceeded to wow the crowd with his huge air over a group of 5 cars and vans. The stadium would start to rumble as he approached the launch ramp, and then absolutely roar when his 5T reached lift off. His Baja 5T flew 30+ feet high for well over 75 feet time and time again to the amazement of everyone present. If you have not been treated to a Monster Jam show yet, get out to Anaheim this Saturday and see it for yourself. Monster Jam is a great place to enjoy some good old fashioned Family entertainment.
