Monster Jam starts in Anaheim each year in January with band and this year was no different as the USHRA Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam Series went into full swing with twelve of the top Monster Trucks and drivers in attendance.

Congratulations to Ryan Anderson on his driving debut in the USHRA Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam Series!

Ryan, age 19 and son of Dennis Anderson [driver of Grave Digger], is driving Monster Mutt. His brother Adam Anderson, age 24, is driving the Taz monster truck. For the Anderson family, especially Dennis, this has to be a wild dream to come true as he is turning 50 this year in October! Let's hope to see this family of drivers at the Monster Jam World Finals!

Back to Anaheim #1, the racing was great with Blue Thunder's Frank Krmel beating out El Toro's Mark McDonald in the Finals. Freestyle was a tie for most of the time between Monster Mutt's Ryan Anderson and El Toro's Mark McDonald with and at the end it was Chad Tingler in Grave Digger to steal the show!

The Ultimate Hobbies-HPI R/C Demo Team was out also jumping Savage's and Baja's 15-feet in the air wowing the crowd in the pit party all day and on the main floor during half time in front of 40,000+ people!
