Memorial Day Drift Meet @ SIRCCC RACEWAY

On Memorial Day SIRC Legion and special guest from LA John Lee and Chris helped out setting the track for the event. SIRCCC RACEWAY located in Staten Island, NY/Midland Beach. The track was a project several years in the making that is just starting to take off with lots of plans. Members showed up with their HPI Sprint-2’s, E10’s and even an imported PRO-D from Japan that had everyone wishing they had one.

We had a 10-Under Drift Class and they were better than some of the adult members!

Thanks to efforts of this Big Ray, SIRC LEGION Members, once again we are enjoy R/C racing and Drifting in STATEN ISLAND, We would also like to announce the bonding of our local hobby shop

These members were responsible for bringing together a touring and drift race on Memorial Day 2009. About 22 driver showed up for the event and many spectators inquiring what was going on, few of them even joined the club and asked for info on where to buy a car and about racing with us in the future.

Our club does a combined of touring and drifting, that's why we are LEGION, SIRC - for STATEN ISLAND REMOTE CONTROL CAR CLUB. We meet every weekend @ the beach for practice and friendly racing, we are here to have fun and show our kids how to compete and play a fair game at racing.
