Thursday, June 5, 2008, HPI Racing teamed up with the YPO, also known as the Young Presidents’ Organization, and put on a complete demo/try-me track to entertain all at their most recent gathering. This meeting was held at the famous Peterson Automotive Museum, which is home for just about anything and everything relating to automobiles. From decked out and ‘pimped out’ rides, to stock and completely restored classics, to even full-sized staged dioramas filled complete with antique goods and fake, mocked up people. The fleet of HPI Sprint 2’s took a beating that day, doing countless laps around the track as well as many destruction derby-esque, unplanned encounters and head-on collisions. The end result was a whole bunch of young, and extremely successful business executives having a total blast with some radio-controlled cars.
