We're at it again! On August 4th, Touge Knights RC Drift team and HPI Racing hit the city of Orange at the Discount Tire Center to help promote RC drifting and full scale drifting as a whole. Along side top companies like Motegi Racing, American Racing Wheels we showed the customers of Discount Tire Center what the auto tuning and drifting lifestyle was about. Showing off the HPI Sprint 2 Drift RTR was Marc, Mac, Kris, and yours truly of the Touge Knights Drift Team. Throughout the day we had many wide-eyed spectators, especially several kids amazed at how these RC cars resembled it's 1:1 scale brothers in looks and movement.
We also had Formula-D Champion and recent X Games Rally Gold winner, Tanner Foust, at the event where Touge Knights presented him a HPI Racing Sprint 2 Drift RTR sporting a custom painted replica of his AEM 350Z, of his own to drive when he is not driving the full size car. This awesome shell was created by Touge Knights driver, Marc Marquez. Along with Tanner , pro drifter and new friend to the Touge Knights and HPI Racing crew, Daijiro Yoshihara , stopped by and hung out at the HPI tent for some RC drfiting fun.
