This year at the 2007 AMA Suzuki Super Bike race at the California Speedway, HPI Racing was on hand  to put on a show! So we packed up everything from Sprint 2 Drift cars, Savages, Hellfires, E-Savages and the new star of live demo action, the Baja 5B! Plus, we invited RCCrawlers out with their rock crawling massive wall display and we brought some of our converted Wheely “crawler” Kings. This was the makings of a great show. Everyone who came by this infield paddock area would witness some aerial acrobatic maneuvers as the trucks and buggies launched off the kicker ramps, flying over pure asphalt to land on a makeshift landing ramp made of a couple of tables with plywood landings. From all the Monster Truck demos, we’ve perfected the landing ramps with the use of plywood screwed to the edge of the tables and no runners used, so the plywood flexes from the massive drops, taking jumps as high as 20-feet high and 35+ feet long. It’s a sight to see two Savages flying in the air simultaneously and one front flipping while the other is back flipping. The crowd loves it – even if these are scale vehicles! If we weren't putting on some live action, we had Wheely King Try-Me demos for the kids and that was a HIT! We also gained access to the Metal Mulisha freestyle ramps! Saturday afternoon we did a little test and Chris Higa was the first to clear the 85-foot gap off the Metal Mulisha ramps!!! YES, 85feet from lip to lip!!! After that, it was a rap! Sunday, everyone wanted to see the Baja’s flying 85-feet! And they did!
