Assembly Instructions - Page 6, Step 2 Micro RS4 Main Page | To the Main Assembly Instructions Page Step 2 encompasses building the rear axle housing and completing the assembly of the rear axle. Step 2 Cut the rear axle housing off the #73047 parts tree.
Cut the rear shock mount from the #73407 parts tree, trimming extra material off.
Install the rear shock mount onto the axle housing using the flat head self-tapping screw.
Install the B014 3 x 8 x 3mm bearings on either side of the axle housing. Note that on the bearings will not sit completely flush with the plastic part, they will stick out about 1mm.
Attach the purple motor plate as shown. Make sure it's installed flat onto the axle housing and use your high-quality small Philips screwdriver to screw the small button head machine screws through the axle housing, into the motor plate.
Use the L-wrench or a 1.5mm Allen wrench to screw the step screw through the plastic bushing and into the axle housing. This will be the rear belt guide for the car. The plastic bushing should spin freely, so make sure you haven't tightened the step screw too much.
Put the rear belt over the belt pulley (right next to the spur gear). Find the B020 5 x 8 x 2.5mm bearing and install it in the pulley belt guide.
Put the guide with the bearing installed over the left side of the rear axle and hold it in place with your fingers.
Slide the axle through the pulley belt guide and through the axle housing.
Tear a small piece of plain paper from a magazine or notebook. Before installing the left hub, slide the paper between the hub and the bearing, then tighten the 1.5mm set screw onto the flat spot of the axle. This will make sure that the hub isn't tightened too much and binding on the bearing.
Install the 1mm spacer on the left side if you installed the spacer on the right side.
Put the #73403-10 spacer in the left side rear wheel hub. Make sure the small bevel faces to the inside, and install it like you installed the right side spacer.
Install the left rear wheel hub and tighten the nut on with the Micro wrench.
