This weekend marks the opening of the British Touring Car Championship and HPI are proud to be part of it! Following on the success of last years sponsorship of the Japanese Touring Car Championship, HPI are sponsoring 2 cars in conjunction with Friends Reunited. The new team "HPI Racing with Friends Reunited" will be racing three times this Sunday. The venue is Donington Park race circuit in the East Midlands and there will be live coverage on UK TV channel ITV1. Having already received masses of press attention from the previews last month HPI are excited about this new venture with Friends Reunited. The full-sized Lexus IS200's won't be the only HPI cars there so keep an eye out for the HPI Nitro 3 cars with custom-made replica Lexus IS 200 bodyshells.
We wish our drivers Ian Curley and Richard Williams the very best of luck. ITV viewers will get to watch highlights of race one, delayed coverage of race two in its entirety and the third race live.
