HPI Racing has a large selection of high performance touring car tires for every street or track surface. Use the chart below to find the tire that meets your traction requirements. Which Compound is best for you?
Belted or
Non-Belted?
HPI developed our belted tires to help prevent the tire from expanding during acceleration. A strip of nylon belt on the inside makes them very similar to full-size racing tires. Another benefit is that the contact patch doesn't squirm as much during cornering. The result of the belted technology is more grip and much longer tire life. Belted tires are perfect for Nitro racers, the belts keep the tires from expanding (or "ballooning") under the rotational forces while racing. |
