Team HB factory driver Teemu Leino is at the huge EFMOD racing facility in Izmir, Turkey, on the west coast of the country at the EFRA 1/10th Touring IC European Championships. He's racing the HB R10 car and stopped to give us his views on the week so far ahead of the qualifying rounds, which started today.
Teemu says, "Today it's going pretty good, qualifying is just about to start for us and the facility is one of the nicest in the world. The track is really big for 1/10th scale cars, it's hard to see the car but I feel confident, the car is pretty good wherever we race it."
"I have a completely new setup for the car, high speed and technical corners make us have to fine-tune for steering and grip. We've been getting better and faster with each heat, tactics for the first rounds of qualifying is to just make the laps with no mistakes!"
