Tue, 21st February 2006

The 2006 Thailand International Touring Car Championship took place this weekend and what an action packed weekend it was. Drivers from all over the world were there to take part in this prestigious race including the HPI/HB Racing Team.

Racers battled it out on the race track but the weekend was dominated by the HPI/HB Racing Team. From qualifying to the finals 7 HB Cyclones were in the top 10 of the modified class, and 4 HB Cyclones and 2 HPI Pro 4 in the top 10 of the stock class. In the modified class renowned champion Atsushi Hara took TQ and finished at a very close 2nd. HPI Europe's very own Andy Moore finished at an exciting 3rd and Surikarn took 4th, with the remaining HPI/HB Racing team coming 8th, 9th and 10th. The stock class was just as exciting with Surikarn setting the pace with 23 turns motors. He showed who was the boss by taking TQ and winning all three A-mains!

Amongst the top racers at the TITC the Hot Bodies Cyclone was the most popular car, proving once more it is the car to have on the race track for its incredible fast speed and high driving capabilities. For full race results please visit the TITC website. Photos courtesy from the TITC website
