#8065 - Sauber Mercedes C9 (#61T) 1988 Le Mans |

||
The Sauber Mercedes C9 competed in the 1988 World Sports-Prototype Championship Group C class. Powered by a Mercedes-Benz M117 5 liter turbocharged V8 engine, the C9 could achieve a spectacular 248mph on the Mulsanne straight at Le Mans. HPI has created a precision 1/43 scale replica of the #61T car. This die-cast model is painted black with white stripes and AEG Olympia livery, and displayed with the rear bodywork next to the car, showing off the incredible detail of the engine and rear suspension. These fabulous 1/43 scale die-cast car models are a convenient size for collecting (approximately 10 x 4 x 3cm) and come in a crystal clear acrylic case with black base so you can easily stack the cases if you wish. Incredible attention has been paid to make the cars as true to scale as possible. Fine exterior details like radiators, disc brakes, brake calipers, mirrors, wings, exhaust, headlight buckets, tow hooks and radio antennae combine to make the models extremely realistic. The paint and sponsor logos are color-matched for exact scale representation. Each car has a fully painted and detailed interior, complete with a roll cage, racing seat, fire extinguisher, steering wheel, and dashboard. Engine detail includes the full cylinder block, exhaust system, radiators, oil coolers and more! |
