Pro 4 Wins 2004 Touring Car Nationals!
HPI team driver Atsushi Hara drove his Pro 4 touring car to victory at the prestigious 2004 ROAR Paved On-Road Electric Nationals hosted by the Rose City Scale Racing club in Portland, Oregon. With the top drivers from North America in attendance, this was one of the biggest touring car events of 2004. Atsushi Hara set the pace at the race, dominating practice, qualifying, and the main events. His HPI Pro 4 car came out on top, capturing the Top Qualifier position and then winning the first two races of the triple A Mains for the overall win and another ROAR National Champion title to add to his racing resumé.

The Pro 4 continues to show that it is a purebred race car. Designed to compete at the highest levels of competition, the Pro 4 is extremely lightweight and has a high efficiency drivetrain for maximum performance, has a wide range of adjustability, and is loaded with high performance features that allow it to be run in virtually stock form: woven graphite chassis, upper deck and shock towers, titanium turnbuckles, and threaded alloy shocks. Pro 4 owners can see Hara's setup sheet to try his exact suspension settings. Atsushi ran a new lightweight Delrin Outdrive Set that has just been released for the Pro 4, look for part #75169. Hopefully this win is an indication of what to expect at the IFMAR World Championships to be held later this summer.

Hara also drove to victory in the 1/12th scale class, making it a perfect racing weekend for him. Team Orion provided the battery power and motor needed for the win in both classes.

Congratulations on two great wins Atsushi!
