With the driver meeting over, we moved on to a very popular HPI Challenge competition: the Concours Challenge!

All the racers brought out their cars, which made an impressive display in front of the driver stand. There were nearly 200 HPI cars in the lineup, and the Concours Challenge judges had to narrow it down to just ONE!

These cars and trucks were the first group chosen from all the cars and trucks present. From this group the top three cars would be chosen.

Here are the Top Three cars the judges chose for the Concours Challenge - as you can see, these definitely deserved to be in the final running for the top prize!

Although modeling skills help and can break close ties, judges concentrate on paint scheme, design, color choice, clean paint masking and lines, as well as other details on the outside of the car.

However, it still was the job of each judge to choose their favorite car, based on a variety of details...

...once everything was considered, the judges could choose only one car to be the winner:

Chris Green (runner-up), Reuben Williams (winner), Rock (runner-up)

All three finalists took home an HPI Challenge T-shirt, while Reuben also won a Concours Challenge trophy and Micro RS4 kit!
