Many racers don't understand what it takes to put together a weekend racing event - there are many phone calls and emails that go back and forth, shop management and club organizers have to be in sync and the racers have to be notified so hopefully enough show up to make it a reallymemorable event. We'd like to thank Eric and the owner and shop employees of Hobbytown USA in Lewisville, TX, they definitely helped to make this a great weekend for HPI and the local racers. Mike and David of HTRLRC did their all to help out Frank and Thad from HPI and helped them settle in and get acquainted to all the area racers. The management of the Tom Thumb grocery store can't be forgotten for letting the HTRLRC club use their parking lot for the whole weekend instead of just one day. And of course the many racers who lived in the area and especially the ones who traveled so far to attend! We had racers from Mississippi, Louisiana, Ohio and even Florida show up! The commitment and enthusiasm shown by loyal HPI racers is something that really makes all the effort worth it. Thanks, and we'll see you at future HPI Challenge races!
