We have to give our appreciation to all the people that helped out and showed up during the racing weekend! Bob Hastings from R/C Car Action showed up to take many pictures of the racing and the pit areas, as well as talk with several of the racers to get their view of the race weekend. Look for the coverage in a future issue of R/C Car Action!
Nearly one hundred and thirty racers came out to race and have fun, and we want to thank each and every one of the racers that attended! This was easily our best turnout of the year so far. We hope to surpass this record with our races in Houston and Ohio, however!
We'd also like to thank racers like Trevor Swartz, who made the trip from Fort Meyers, Florida to this race! Trevor traveled the farthest to participate in our race, but we also had racers from Missouri, Maryland, New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, New Jersey and of course Connecticut who spent the weekend with us to have fun and race, so we're really happy to have met and talked with so many people.
Thanks must also go out to the almost 20 Super Nitro racers, 6 Nitro MT racers and especially the 11 Rally racers who made the weekend point challenge very exciting!

We also had many cars make an appearance in our Concours Challenge, which we love to see. The judges had a hard time trying to decide which car to choose as a winner, which is a good sign that the competition was pretty close! Thanks to Ray Powell, Tyronne Milton and Rueben Williams, our Concours Challenge winner, for making it a close contest!
Racers in the New England area should be proud to have such a well-stocked hobby shop like R/C Madness, especially since it has three different types of tracks available. Chris does a great job of taking care of his customers, and it really shows. Racers also showed a lot of concern for their buddy's cars, and the race crew did a great job running and organizing the races.
