We have to give our appreciation to all the people that helped out and showed up during the racing weekend! Louie Paterelli from R/C Car Action showed up to take many pictures of the racing and the pit areas, as well as talk with several of the racers to get their view of the race weekend.

Nearly one hundred racers came out to race and have fun, and we want to thank each and every one of the racers that attended! As we gave away the bodies, shirts and hats during both days of racing, many of the racers told us how much they were having fun. This is what we love to hear!

At the left, we have Joel Sanabria's Audi S4 with his scale A4 on the hood! To the right, check out Henry Hernandez's Honda Civic RS4 Mini on his full-size car! Henry even has the double spoiler setup on his real car, and both Joel and Henry painted their scale cars the same color as their real cars! Pretty sweet!

We also had many cars make an appearance in our Concours Challenge, which we like to see. Although we could have used more cars in the competition, the judges still had a hard time trying to decide which car to choose as an overall winner, which is a good sign that the competition among the top three was pretty close!

Racers in the Orlando area should be proud and very happy to have such a well-stocked hobby shop like Superior Hobbies, and judging from what we heard over the weekend, hobbyists all over central Florida really like the shop! Rob does a great job of taking care of his customers and employees, and it really shows. Racers also showed a lot of concern for their buddy's cars, and the Superior Hobbies crew (Kevin, Ken and Ian) did a great job running and organizing the races.

We've got plenty of races coming up for the rest of the year! Our race in Connecticut is next, with Houston, Cincinnati and Milwaukee right afterward! Click here to get the schedule for the rest of the year.
